Georgia Power’s Plug-In EV Rates Make Saving Money Easier!

Worried about what getting an electric vehicle will do to your electric bill? Georgia Power customers with electric vehicles have the option to sign up for a rate that offers lower prices during off-peak hours to incentivize charging at night! This plan offers 3 rates: $0.01 per kWh for super off-peak charging (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.), $0.07 per kWh for off-peak charging (From June to September, this period is from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. during weekdays, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. during weekends. For all other months, this period is from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.), and $0.20 for on-peak charging (2 p.m. to 7 p.m., June to September).
