U.S. News & World Report Ranks the Best Electric Cars for 2020

With so many electric cars on the market, it can be overwhelming to try to find the best one for you. Thankfully, U.S. News & World Report has compiled a list of their picks for the best electric cars for 2020! Their ranking decided using their own system, the USN score. The USN score is based on credible reviews and pertinent information drivers want to know about the car, such as reliability, safety, performance, and cargo.

Coming in at number five on the list is the 2019 Audi e-Tron. With a USN score of 8.2/10 and a range of 204 miles, this is one of the best electric SUVs on the market.

At number four, we have another SUV, the 2020 Jaguar I-Pace. The I-Pace scored an 8.3/10 and has a bit more range than the Audi e-Tron, at 234 miles.

Number three on the list is the 2019 Tesla Model 3. The Model 3 is the best selling EV on the market, offering a range of 220-325 miles and countless features, giving it a score of 8.7/10.

Nailing the number 2 spot is the 2019 Kia e-Soul. This model is basically a carbon copy of the gas-powered Kia Soul and has a score of 8.8/10 and a range of 111 miles. Kia plans to revamp it for 2021, upgrading some features and expanding its range t0 243 miles.

The car that achieved the number one spot on U.S. News & World Report’s list is the 2019 Tesla Model S. This car scored a 9.1/10 for its USN score and has an incredible range of 259-373 miles. This luxury car has truly earned its spot at number one, with high-end features and dynamic performance.
