Joe Carrico is the Sr Vice President of HR & Safety at EnviroSpark, where he brings more than 25 years of HR experience to his role. In his current role, Joe is responsible for leading EnviroSpark’s overall human resources strategy, national talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and employee relations.

Before joining EnviroSpark, Joe served as Vice President of HR and Safety for Crider Foods, the largest food processor of chicken in the world, where he helped build a culture of high-performing teams. Prior to Crider Foods, he led HR teams for several leading companies, including Baldor Foods and Newell. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Psychology from São Paulo University. He also has attended Executive Management and Leadership training from Cornell University and Harvard Business School.

Joe is an avid martial arts fan and he holds a black belt. He practices the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira and Taekwondo. He enjoys spending time with his family in Atlanta.
