EnviroSpark hires industry veteran as new Senior Vice President of Sales
Nicole Lewandowski joins the company after four years in leadership roles at EVGo
ATLANTA (April 10, 2023) — Georgia-based electric vehicle (EV) charging company EnviroSpark has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Nicole Lewandowski as Senior Vice President of Sales. In her role, Lewandowski will be responsible for driving EnviroSpark’s revenue and network growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts. She will oversee a growing sales team focused on delivering a variety of infrastructure options that are tailored to customers’ needs.
Lewandowski joins EnviroSpark following four-and-a-half years at publicly-traded EVgo, one of the country’s largest public fast-charging networks. She most recently served as EVgo’s Vice President of Charging Infrastructure and has over 10 years of EV industry experience at companies like Tesla Motors and Faraday Future.
“I’m so excited to join the talented, dynamic EnviroSpark team and contribute to making the company’s vision of EV mass adoption and accessible charging a reality,” said Lewandowski.
“I was drawn to EnviroSpark’s value-centered company culture and drive. With nine years of experience in the EV charging space, the company is well positioned to capitalize on the massive opportunity to meet the variety of infrastructure demands of new EV owners. EnviroSpark’s focus on providing a world-class charging experience for customers and the grit that I saw from the team was something I wanted to be a part of.”
Providing turnkey charging solutions to customers across North America, EnviroSpark counts companies like Tesla, Starwood Capital Group and Wood Partners as clients, and recently surpassed 100 employees, a 526% year-over-year staffing increase. The hiring boom coincides with EnviroSpark’s 370% year-over-year revenue growth from 2021 to 2022 and the company is on track for more than 300% revenue growth again in 2023.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nicole to our growing team, and I know our company and our customers will benefit from her wealth of industry experience and knowledge,” said EnviroSpark CEO and Founder Aaron Luque.
“As we continue to expand our footprint in the EV charging market, Nicole’s extensive sales leadership experience and proven track record will help accelerate our rapid growth and further solidify our role as a national leader in the clean tech space.”
Lewandowski will be based out of EnviroSpark’s Atlanta headquarters and collaborate with new sales colleagues in Austin, Texas and Charlotte, N.C., where EnviroSpark has just opened new offices.
